Job Summary

We are searching for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fun, fast-paced, growing team! The BDR works to identify and move leads forward to create net new sales pipeline for our Account VPs to close. The BDR is a cross functional role with high visibility, collaboration and responsibility. A successful BDR is a motivated self-starter, hungry for a challenge and will quickly pivot in a every evolving environment. Your high-energy, ability to prioritize, and professional dedication will drive new technology opportunities for the future growth of Health Catalyst!

What you’ll own:

  • Develop an understanding of business challenges faced by customers and common objectives to appropriately map HCATs solutions and associated business benefits to address their needs.
  • Managing a high volume of accounts while creating a strategy on prioritization
  • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas specific to Healthcare
  • Responsible for lead nurture and management to opportunity creation and introduction to Sales VP
  • Manage activity to Key Performance Indicators that include call, email and meeting targets
  • Attend trainings to stay up to date with new products and service offerings
  • Partner closely with Account VPs to identify and source net new pipeline that leads to closed revenue
  • Create credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization

What you bring to the role:

  • 1-4 years of experience in lead generation and/or sales
  • Competitive drive and experience in a goal-focused environment
  • Track record of success & impact in previous roles (promotion, awards, hitting quota, etc.)
  • Being measured against a quota and or activity metrics (cold calls, emails, meetings, etc.)
  • Role-related experience:
    • Prospecting experience (cold calls/emails)
    • Non-sales backgrounds (recruiters, ex-finance, etc.) would be great in a BDR role
    • Salesforce or similar CRM, MS Office Suite, Zoom, Definitive Healthcare, SalesLoft, Pardot
