Cloud Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Perform Azure development and design work that includes but is not limited to cloud architecture analysis and design, data network design, and systems engineering
• Develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations
• Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
• Perform advanced systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Act as a subject-matter expert around Microsoft Azure for other sales and solutions teams
• Interface with partners to influence the direction of IoT platforms and products
• Create and maintain build and release pipelines for cloud deployments
• Develop tooling for operational and field teams
• Contribute to cloud platform governance and cost analysis

What you need to succeed:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Azure Cloud Solutions
• Experience in multiple cloud services with deep knowledge of one of the following:

• Applications
  • Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Function App
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Application Gateway
• Data
  • Azure SQL Databases
  • Azure Cosmos DB
  • Experience with KUSTO query language preferred
• Security
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Security Center
  • Azure Policy
  • Identify and Access Management & Zero Trust
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and key / secret / certificate management
• IoT
  • IoT Hub
  • IoT Edge Devices
  • IoT Edge Queries
• DevOps
  • Continuous building and releasing
  • Integrated code analysis tools
  • Maintaining Production Releases
  • Infrastructure as Code using terraform, bicep or ARM templates
  • Experience with Log aggregation and dashboarding
  • Experience in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Cloud Networking
  • Experience with virtual networks and subnetting
  • Private endpoints for PaaS services
  • Ingress control and load balancing
  • Network Security groups
  • Traffic analysis and troubleshooting
  • Cloud VPN deployment and configuration
• General Skills
  • Troubleshooting complex scenarios related to an Application Deployment
  • Device monitoring and alerting
  • Update management
