The Role

As a Windows DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security as well as overseeing and creating patterns/behaviors that lead to more reliable and available systems.The role needs an experienced windows engineer with Terraform experience and excellent communication skills  

What you’ll do: 

  • Install, configure, test and maintain windows operating systems, application software and system management tool
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Participate in deep technical design discussions within your team, and across partner teams, and ensure that we are building the right systems and keeping the quality high.

What you’ll need:

  • 4+ years of experience with system administration/operations and or/software development
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or relevant experience
  • Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Amazon Workspaces)
  • Experience with monitoring systems (i.e. Solarwinds, Nagios)
  • Experience with automation software (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Scripting skills (e.g.,Powershell)
