About the Role
This role will primarily focus on Ramp’s portfolio and risk management efforts, working closely with the Risk, Product, and Data/Engineering teams. The mandate for this role will be to provide data, analytical, and financial modeling support for internal finance initiatives, as well as play a key role in guiding our risk and product functions. We are looking for candidates who have an exceptionally strong sense for statistical methods, intuition around large data sets, and a keen commercial sense for characteristics of a good business.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Finance / Capital Markets and Risk teams to better understand and measure the ROI and risk-adjusted returns of underlying strategies, and support cross-functional workflows including macro tracking and portfolio management
- Manage our internal product across banking rails and product / commercial modeling
- Use data to influence and inform key strategic and operating decisions
- Contribute to our robust Capital Markets framework, including interfacing with investors and lenders and driving forward reporting requirements
- Identify and develop KPIs; build dashboards to monitor success and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
- Build out financial operations and payment operations infrastructure
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Corporate Finance at top-tier technology company
- Expertise with Looker, SQL, and/or Python
- Extreme attention to detail with a high regard for precision
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners
- Excellent financial modeling and quantitative / data analysis skills
- Ability to dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
Compensation
- The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $106,250-$125,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
