Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of an organic social media strategy:
- Assist with the creation of a robust growth strategy for US social media channels
- Continually review, test, and improve social media strategy
Plan and produce engaging social media content:
- Create engaging daily content appropriate for each channel and user profiles.
- Create a content calendar that aligns with broader marketing and engagement campaigns.
- Stay on top of the latest social media trends and mental health news to create relevant, timely content.
Track analytics and report on social media growth and engagement:
- Use analytics and social listening tools to inform social media strategy
- Create weekly reports and recommendations for areas of growth
- Test new social media channels
User engagement:
- Engage with our community on social media, moderating and responding to comments and DMs
- Use social media content to drive user engagement
- Engage in conversations in other communities to widen outreach
Qualifications
Education and other Qualifications:
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent of education and experience combined
- 2+ years of experience within consumer marketing and social media
- Excellent understanding of social media channels and best practices
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Experience growing a social media following
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with social media scheduling tools such as HubSpot, Sprout, Hootsuite, or Agorapulse
- Experience using video editing tools
- Creative: you’re great at coming up with innovative ideas and bringing them to life on social
- Organized: you’re able to manage multiple deadlines and plan content across channels
- Proactive: you’re driven, self-motivated, and take initiative to get things done
- Mental health aware: you’re interested in our space and understand the nuances of talking about mental health on social media
- Strong communication: you have great verbal and written communication skills
- Design: you have a good eye for visual design and branding
- Team player: you enjoy working collaboratively and make strong working relationships
- Confident: you wouldn’t mind getting in front of the camera or interviewing a stranger for TikTok
